“Neyssa Lee Photography is becoming an annual tradition for our family. Her warm, calm guidance through the process puts all ages at ease. I love the natural smiles she captures. There are so many amazing moments captured that it's a struggle to choose favorites. I look forward to having Neyssa photograph our family beautifully year after year."

01. What kind of photographer are you?
I am a natural light, lifestyle portrait photographer. My work can be described as natural, fun, light and authentic. I became a photographer to capture the small, everyday moments and milestones of life and your gallery will reflect that. I am an all inclusive family photographer because I don’t want you to be forced to choose just five photos.
Sessions with me are about leaning into your high school senior's personality. I will guide them into poses and offer prompts that bring genuine expressions and flattering positions.
01. WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHER ARE YOU?
My editing style is clean, true to life. I'm about enhancing what was there in front of me. This means, I keep colors true to what the were during our session, adding a little extra pop. I keep those things that are meant to be there (ie. freckles, birthmarks, dimples, etc) and remove those that aren't (like acne, scratches, etc). At the same time, I believe that skin should have texture and look real. So you won't find plastic looking teens here.
Your gallery will include images in both color and black and white, fully retouched. You'll find bold colors and refreshed skin, with distractions removed.
02. WHAT is your editing style & what editing is included?
Senior photos take place 1-2 hours before sunset. This time of day is referred to as "golden hour" as (on sunny Seattle days) it provides gorgeous, low golden light. Whether or not it's sunny out, this time before sunset is the best time for flattering, even light for your senior pictures.
As far as the best time of year, the summer before the senior year begins is most popular. Summertime in the Seattle area offers longer and warmer days, best for outdoor portraits. Even more, summertime is less busy, giving you plenty of time before those high school yearbook deadlines.
03. WHAT is the Best timing for my senior portrait session?
Dogs are more then welcome in your senior session. In fact, if your pup is a part of your life, I highly encourage you bring them.
When completing your client questionnaire, ensure you list that you're bringing them. Then I will help you select a dog-friendly location for your senior portraits. Plus, I'll offer extra tips to help you have a smooth session with your dog.
04. Can i include my dog in my senior photos?
What's more fun than a senior portrait session? Senior pictures with a friend. Each of you would need to select your own senior portrait package and have them take place at the same location. We would have your session back to back and even take a few photos of the two (or three) of you together.
For questions about booking senior portraits with a friend, contact me.
05. Can I book a session with my friend?
Do you have a special location outside of the greater Seattle area? I am open to traveling for senior portrait sessions. Travel fees apply, depending on the location.
Contact me with your preferred location and we can discuss how to make your senior portrait dreams come true.
