Preparing for your child's photo day
Hello! I am Neyssa Lee of Neyssa Lee Photography. I hope you have had a chance to peek around my website to get know me a little better. I am so excited to be working with your child's school this year to provide Fine Art School Portraits. I strive to provide schools and parents with a more custom and boutique experience. Fine Art School Portraits are taken on a black backdrop. No forced smiles or awkward poses. Just your child's personality.
How do I order?
There is no preordering. Order only what you love from an online gallery. You'll receive a minimum 3-5 images in color & black and white to choose from.
I need family photos, too!
Book your family photo session during your child's school year and receive a special discount just for school family's.
What is a Fine Art School Portrait?
Fine art photography allows each child to be him or herself, whether it be silly and outgoing or reserved and quiet. Portraits are captured on a black backdrop with a tight frame. (In other words, the photo is a close crop, chest up portrait). Visit the Fine Art School Portrait Portfolio (note all portraits are used with parent permission) for a sample gallery.

What to Wear
Photos are taken horizontally, shoulders up (except the group/class photo). Please avoid large logos and hoodies and bright colors for pictures. Solid colors or subtle prints are best, keeping in mind the background is black.

What To Expect After Picture Day
Approximately 2 weeks after your school's picture day(s), you will receive an email with a gallery link and password (along with information specific to your school such as deadlines, etc).
Directly from your gallery you will be able to order photos of your child - digital and/or print packages are offered along with a la carte options.
Ensure you place your order before the given deadline. Digital files that are purchased are emailed directly to you. Prints will be delivered approx. 2 weeks after the gallery closes from ordering.
