“Where is the best place to buy picture frames?”
Print your photos! You’ll hear me shout it from the rooftop. You went through the process of selecting outfits, booking a photographer, having the session, only to let your photos sit on your computer?
No way!
I could list 100 reasons why you should print your photos (I won’t…..this time), but I will say that having photos of my family displayed around my home bring me such joy. Walking into my living room and seeing my kids as they were toddlers, seeing their smiles, seeing how they make their dad and I smile, that’s what I want each day.
If you’ve been around here a while you’d know I’m a major canvas lover. However, the classic beauty and simplicity of a photo in a frame doesn’t get old either.
While I can help you select the right photos to print, help you decide on the right size for your walls, and even order gorgeous, archival quality prints through my professional labs. framing is not something I offer.
Why?
There are SO many choices and options of picture frames to fit every home decor style. Plus, a great quality frame is pretty easy to find if you know where to look.
So where is the best place to buy picture frames? Here are my 3 favorite places.
Amazon is a great option for frames.
There are LOTS of choices on Amazon, the downside is that you often have to know exactly what you’re looking for. Since you can’t touch the frame before buying, you will want to read reviews to get a feel for the quality. With that, I’ve been happy with frames I’ve purchased from Amazon. Plus, returns are easy should you decide they aren’t quite right.
My favorite brand of frame from Amazon is Haus & Hues*. They have so many different styles, plus they are super user-friendly when it comes to hanging on your walls. The photo above shows their white wood option the 8×10 print mounted in a 11×14 frame.
Target is another great option to buy picture frames.
Target has a great selection of frames (and even more online). I love that I can walk in store, touch the quality and decide which frames I want for my home. They aren’t very expensive either at around $15-$20 per frame (11×14 and larger).
I have a set of (9) 16×20 matted to11x14 thin black rimmed picture frames hung on my wall and it looks Beautiful.
The downside of buying frames here? You may walk out with $200 worth of other Target goodies too, because who can walk into Target and only get one thing?
Another great place is Home Goods.
Home Goods does require a bit of looking and digging, but you can find some great frame deals. I love them for finding a variety of smaller frames. These can be used on tabletops or in a photo wall. Sometimes, you can even find some quality larger frames. I would ensure you inspect each frame as sometimes they are damaged from sitting on the shelf together.
Now, where will you decide is the best place to buy picture frames?
