The time before a baby is born into a family is unlike any other time. Whether you’re having your first child, or your third, there is so much emotion, so much excitement and anticipation. You’re in the realm of the unknown. What will the baby look like? Will he sleep and eat well? How will our family dynamic work? Questions like these and more float around in your head (and so many more if you’re like I was during pregnancy). Which is why maternity photo sessions are so special. You can feel those emotions, you can capture moments of you before your family grows by one more, and yet, it already has. You can see it in the way the soon-to-be big brother kisses mommies tummy or a husband gazes at his amazing wife, who is carrying his child.
This family’s maternity session was no exception. It was not just about the baby to be but this family as they were right then. Sure there was plenty of loving on the baby bump, but these siblings may have stolen the show with their sweetness.
