The Summer Photo Challenge continues! I have been working hard to incorporate the Summer Photo Challenge photo prompts into how I capture my summer. I’m loving how it pushes me to think about not only capturing the story of our summer, but also with certain angles or elements as well.
Like this first one. IN BLOOM. I love the hydrangeas in my yard, and yet I haven’t taken the time to capture this summer detail. And now I have!FOCUS. Milo was so focused on the police car driving below at Grand Coulee Dam. He can have such strong focus. And I love how Sawyer can just be seen in the background here.
DRINK. My current summer drink of choice during nap time (= editing time with the baby monitor by my side).
YOUR HOME. This one took me a while to think about. Did I want my house in the photo? Did I want all three kids? No kids? But when I think about home it’s the kids playing on the floor together. And even though Milo isn’t in this shot (he’s not forgotten) this I see this image and think of my home.
COLORFUL. Kids toys are so colorful. And right now they fill the house. This toy being Hudson’s favorite right now!
More photos are coming next week! And make sure you check out my Facebook page to see what others are submitting for the Summer Photo Challenge!
P.S. The deadline for your Summer Photo Challenge Submissions is Sunday, August 23rd by midnight! The random winner will be announced Tuesday, August 25th. The winner will receive a spot for (1) child for the August 27th Back to School Mini Sessions!
