I’m back and I’m starting 2015 with gratitude. It’s been a crazy few months, from holiday sessions to family time, and let’s not forget about that pregnancy thing. Top that off with a case of low iron makes for a tired mama. But I’m on supplements, recovered from the cold that wouldn’t leave our house, unflattering from the holidays and getting back into routines.
The new year means various things for different people. Typically it is a time for new beginnings and new goals. But before I begin look ahead at my year, I want to spend some time in reflection of the past year. While it may be easy to get lost on what didn’t get done or what didn’t happen, I will be starting 2015 with gratitude for all that did happen. This was a HUGE year for me both personally and in the business world. So many things that I feel so blessed to have experienced as I look back.
I am filled with gratitude to all of those who hired me to capture their families. I had a wonderful mix of new clients and old and was able to capture so many blessings, like newborns, babies, toddlers, and children, moms and dads. There were so many favorite images from this year, it was hard to choose just a couple to show off.
Thank you to each and every family who invited me to spend time with them in 2014. A special thanks to everyone who referred a friend, helped spread the word, and helped me gain new clients that I loved meeting!
As I begin 2015 I am excited to start thinking about what the year will bring (more families to capture, a newborn of my own to photograph, more workshop options, themed mini sessions….), but as I look forward, I am filled with nothing but gratitude for an amazing 2014.
