Snow White and Dopey had a wonderful Halloween! This year was quite the Adventure, with two little ones (and a husband) running in different directions. For Halloween, my family likes to go to Gilman Village. It is a cute little shopping center, the right size for the kids, it’s safe, and there is some cover if it rains. Luckily, the weather held out nicely! It was the first year that Milo really started to understand the process of trick or treating. He was on a mission to get candy.Sawyer, was not very interested in the candy getting, she liked to hold onto things, run around and smile and laugh at everyone. I know that I’m pretty biased to my own kids, but she was definitely the fairest one of all! Everyone kept commenting on how cute Snow White was! It was tricky to try to capture her and Milo. They are both getting so quick and were in separate directions. But I love this one of her squealing with delight over her treasure.
We took time to stop for a family photo, but before we got some Milo noticed that there was a garbage truck. And what could be more exciting then a garbage truck? If you are a 2.5 year old boy, nothing!
What was even cooler, they were letting kids sit it in. What a happy boy!
I did manage to get my family photo. Snow White was eating her apple. I guess no one warned her that it was poisonous! Don’t Derek and I make pretty cute dwarves too? Which ones are we? I’m obviously the brains, Doc, and Derek has to be sneezy. It was hard for Milo to focus with the garbage truck sitting just feet away, but I love this shot of them together!
While big brother took a tour of the famous garbage truck, Sawyer played in the leaves, looking too adorable for me to handle. Look at all of those nibbles out of the bottom of that apple. Silly girl!
Halloween was a success for the Lees. I’m already planning next year’s family theme! How was your holiday?
