With fall, and holiday seasons in full swing, and the rain setting in, there isn’t a ton of time for big adventures. Yet my days are full of pickles and potties.Sawyer has discovered pickles. It sounds silly, but she is SO CUTE when she eats a pickle. She also loves to climb up on Milo’s chef stairs because it makes her seem like a big girl. I wanted to capture the two together. So here she is eating a pickle (with BBQ sauce on her cheek), white standing proudly at the top of the stairs.See, eating a pickle made cute by Miss Sawyer.
We have also started potty training (again). I’m going to be honest, I wish someone could come in and do it for me! But since no one has volunteered, this is an adventure for me! Milo is semi-excited about it, though that may be more for the chocolate chips I’m bribing him with.
Another thing about this photo is that it is one of the last before we cut Milo’s hair. He now looks like such big boy, but I love having captured him before the cut.
This week wasn’t full of any big adventures, just pickles and potties. Yet I’m glad that I captured these everyday moments. I hope my kids see that I took the time to tell all of their childhood story, not just their “big” adventures.
What adventures (big or small) will you capture this week?
