Spring is a great time for capturing photos of brotherly love. Okay, anytime is a great time. But spring means that these brothers are turning one year old and I get to capture their family! This is one of my favorite families (I know, I say that a lot…) because mom truly thinks about her session. I get to do what I love, capture the details and connection of their family. Mom brought their favorite cars, chairs, and even lovies! It made for a beautiful gallery that shows who they are right now.
This first image is a favorite because what unfolded is so similar to this image from last year’s session. The boys are bigger and it’s a kiss from big brother instead of a hug, but it’s still a sweet moment with dad.
This year, big brother wanted to sit with the family for their family photo. He chose his spot still, but it’s much closer then last year (which I still love)!
I love how he is holding onto his lovie. It’s so casual and comfortable. You just know that he feels at ease with his lamb.
Mom brought their chairs and I love how fun dad made it! When he first suggested jumping over the boys, I admit, I was a little worried. But just look at that height he’s getting! And how happy the boys are that dad is being so silly! Oh and let’s not forget about the all to precious photo of brotherly love on the right there.
We finished our session with a trip to the train station. As a mother of a little boy, I knew it was the perfect location for a few extra fun photos. I love these wagons, but big brother was not going to let us put him on it. Yet, he was very happy trying to climb up.
Baby brother didn’t seem to mind sitting up and watching the trains and construction behind me. Oh man, and do you see that dimple?! LOVE.
Thank you for another great photo session. As always, I loved seeing the boys and catching up!
