When a client asked if I would take photos of a favorite place to walk, I admit I was a little hesitant. It was a location that I hadn’t been to before and sometimes kids do better in a new environment then somewhere they know the ins and outs of. But as she started describing the location, I knew I had to take photos of a favorite place to walk. And I’m so glad that I agreed. It was a beautiful spot (even a new favorite spot!). And just look at their family?! Recognize the littlest man from his newborn photos a few months ago? Can’t you see this image on a Christmas card? Sibling shots can be tricky, but baby Brother was amazing at tummy time, giving us plenty of time to get big Brother situated. You have to love those smiles too!
Two year olds are the best age to photograph. They are starting to have minds of their own and don’t often want to sit where you want them to , but even better when they tell you where they are going to sit. I assured mom that the image was adorable and telling of her family right now. When she saw the final image she agreed. Isn’t that too precious?!
We did a little counting toes and comparing feet on our walk.
And of course, you know that my favorite images are those of emotion and story. Like this moment captured of father & son hugging.
Thank you for taking me to your favorite place to walk. It is a beautiful oasis! And your family was so wonderful to capture!
