Hi, I'm Neyssa

Meet Baby Hudson, the newest member of our family. Although she’s only been “out of mommy’s tummy” (as Milo loves to say) for three weeks, she fits right in and we cannot imagine our family without her.Meet Baby Hudson, Newborn photography, Snoqualmie newborn photographer

I’ve shared a few peeks of her on my Facebook Page, like my favorite image here. It seems like most of my favorites of her so far were taken in the hospital. It was a special time as it was sunny outside, light pouring into our room. And having a 48 hour stay, meant we had some time for snuggles and to take a few photos.

The kids came to visit us in the hospital and it couldn’t have been more special and tear jerking. My parents were amazing and didn’t tell the kids that mommy had the baby yet. So when they came in, they were surprised to see baby was here. And we got to announce to them “Meet Baby Hudson, your sister.” Milo was all smiles and couldn’t get enough of his new sister. It brought Derek and I to tears to see how much he loved her right away. I feel blessed that friend and workshop graduate Rachel came to the hospital to capture this special time for us, the kids meeting their sibling. These next two images are priceless.

We also had some newborn photos done. These are two of my favorites of our little family, captured by Miss Freddy. As you can see, both kids are pretty smitten with Hudson.

We had finished her nursery just a few days before she was born. It was Derek’s idea – he wanted a Star Wars themed nursery. I agreed as long as it was gender neutral (since we didn’t know what we were having, obviously) and that I got a chevron wall. He complied. I thought the perfect way to complete the nursery would be to add a themed newborn photo. Once Hudson arrived, I got to work and made a special hat for a special photo shoot. What do you think?!

The last photo I will share (for now) is her “Sheepy” photo. I never knew what we were starting when Derek and I first captured Milo on this sheep 4 years ago. But the sheep is now featured in their monthly photos. And just because Hudson is a 3rd child, it is a tradition we couldn’t skip on. I wanted to show you how they all compare. Top Left: Milo, Bottom Left: Sawyer, Right: Hudson. Hudson wasn’t going to fall asleep on sheepy but I still love the image! (Note: Derek was right beside all 3 kids when taking these shots, so no baby was put at risk for the sake of the photo).

So thank you for all of the love and support we have received while welcoming our newest family member. It has been a journey getting her here and I feel so thankful to have her in my arms. Don’t worry, many more photos of her (and the older two kids) will be shared in due time! But for now, I just wanted you to meet baby Hudson!
