So far, I’m keeping up with my digital Project Life this year! (I know, I know, it is only February…). Since I’m doing things by week instead of month, I carve out a small chunk of time each week to focus on personal photos. When I only have a week’s worth of photos to go through and 1 spread to do, it doesn’t take me long. Plus, I love that I can really remember the details from that week. While a month was a good breakdown too, sometimes the photos from an entire month seemed too daunting. Hence, I’m behind on my 2014 album.
I shared the first couple of spreads from my January Digital Project Life album here. So I wanted to finish out the month. Then I will start sharing just once a month, hopefully inspiring some of you to keep up to date too!
This week in January, the kids helped me out as I prepared for my Valentine’s Mini Sessions. I also had my 32 week bump photo, and enjoyed a little Starbucks date with Sawyer while Milo was at school!
For the last week in January, the kids both had dentist appointments (yup, I was that mom with the “big” camera at the dentist’s office). We enjoyed some sunshine walks and playing outside, which Sadie, our dog, loved because it meant extra time chasing the ball. The kids also helped daddy finish painting baby’s room, and we made a few trips for putting practice at the golf course. Oh and let’s not forget baking with mommy!
As I was going through these photos, I realized that I’m in hardly any photos this year so far. So I made Derek take a few photos of me and the kids as we made a special Valentine’s treat (recipe and photos will be shared on Friday!). I think this might be the best part about staying up to date. You realize, hey, I’m not in any of these photos (minus my bump photo)!
