Hi, I'm Neyssa

Quickly write effective social media posts, small business tips from photographer and busy mom of 6.

Whether it is for Instagram or Facebook, you do not want to spend all of your time trying to write effective social media posts. However, you also don’t want to have captions that leave your audience unsure of what you offer or why they should continue to follow you.

There are plenty of Instagram “experts” all who offer mixed advice on what you “should” post on social media, which can leave you feeling overwhelmed and confused.

So what should you post and how can you write captions more quickly?

My #1 tip to efficiently write effective social media posts is to start with your monthly goals.

Remember, your purpose for using social media is to support your business. Root your captions in supporting your goals and you’ll find more success with your social media strategy.

As you sit down to look at the month ahead, look at what goals you are working towards.

Are you hoping to gain more clients? Then what questions or education do you need to do to help convert people into clients?

Is your goal to build your newsletter list? Then you know you need to share about your freebie or why people should join your newsletter.

When you’re feeling stuck trying to write content for social media keep referring back to your goals for the month.

By regularly reviewing your goals, you can ensure you stay focused on those things that matter. No more getting stuck with all kinds of topics or trying to think of another “cutesy” caption.

Bonus tip: Use Later to schedule multiple posts at once. Batching will not only save you time, but also help you plan your content.
