When preparing for a session and a client says she wants to include goats and motorcycles in family photos, I was so psyched! To top it off, the kids are two of my favorite siblings. They are so sweet to each other and (mostly) willing to have their photos taken. Big brother really wanted to photobomb some photos. Yet we were still able to get him to smile for nice family photos. This was a favorite from their session. You have to love brother’s smile here!
The light was so beautiful and this field even more perfect (if you were willing to brave the prickly parts of it, which they were). While I’d like to say that I’m funny and making them laugh, mom might have been singing a song from Frozen here.
On our way back to the car to change locations we spotted this trail. The trail was so pretty, but I’m so glad we got this great shot (and a few others) because we were all eaten alive by mosquitos.
Then it was back to their house where we attempted at a family portrait with the goats. While I love the shot I shared here, it proved to be rather difficult. Yet the lighting was so stunning, I couldn’t help but capture a few fun shots. Like this one.
While they didn’t want to “pose” for a photo, they were excited about treats. Aren’t they so cool? I really wanted goats after this shoot!
Then we ended the session with motorcycles. As a kid my family had a little Honda 50, so it was pretty cool to see these kids with small motorcycles too. While dad was finishing getting the bikes out, I was able to capture this precious in between moment.
Thank you, for spending the evening allowing me to capture your beautiful family!
