An early morning summertime session on the beach is the perfect way to start my day.
This family was reffered by another favorite client of mine. I love hearing that someone was so thrilled with their photos they shared their images and reccomended me to their friends and family. And I’m so glad I had the chance to capture this beautiful family.
We practically had the beach to ourselves for some rock throwing and bird watching. I just loved how the sunlight was pouring in behind them. Didn’t I say they were a beautiful family?
We did a few father son shots. This one was my favorite, as we had a conversation about whether or nor dad was funny. Of course, his son wouldn’t admit that his father was funny, but you have to love this shot of them laughing teogether!
Little sister wasn’t sure of me at first, as most 2 year olds need a little time to warm up to the crazy lady with the big camera. But I love that she was shy at first, because it meant was able to capture this precious moment of her snuggling with daddy on the way to the next spot for photos!
They even brought their dog, who was a rockstar for photos. This was one of my favorites of the family shots, I could just see this on a Christmas card or as a canvas above the mantel!
The swing is always a big hit for smiles! But she’s smiling becuase her dad and brother are playing on the zip line and being silly. You have to love that smile!
Their dog was so adorable. He loves squirrels and when we weren’t taking family photos, he was on a mission. While he looks like he is posing for a portrait he was focused on capturing his prey. (Don’t worry, no animals were harmed during our photo session!)
