Hi, I'm Neyssa

While taking Sadie outside the other morning, I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful pink light. As I looked towards Mount Si, I could only stop and admire the bright horizon. As I waited for Sadie to finish exploring, I felt nothing but awe for the beauty that surrounded me.Bright Horizon, Neyssa Lee Photography, Snoqualmie Family Photographer

The past few days Derek and I have been dealing with our sick kids. Milo, especially has been sick, dealing with yet another ear infection. He has struggled to sleep the past couple of days, which means no sleep for Derek and I. Yet, yesterday morning, when he finally snoozed (for 20 minutes) in my arm, I couldn’t help but enjoy this sweet moment with my boy. I was taken back to his days as a baby, holding him as he slept. I was grateful that I, at least had my cell phone to snap a quick photo to remember this moment.

Though the past few days have been difficult, I know that there is a bright horizon coming.  It won’t be long until the kids are back on their feet and we are exploring the world again. I can’t wait to get my camera out and start capturing 2014.

While we are on the mends, the blog will be quiet the next few days. I’m working on some great posts that I can’t wait to share. In the meantime, make sure you’re following along on Facebook and please vote for your favorite Holiday Photo!

Here’s to good health and bright horizons for all of you.
