Braving the rain is part of life as a Seattleite. If you’re a photographer it means, rescheduling photo sessions or having backup plans in the winter time. After a few reschedules hoping for better weather, this family decided they were okay braving the rain! I’m so glad we did, as the trees were starting to bloom and were the perfect backdrop for one of my favorite families!Even though Miss A came out for the fall mini sessions, I could hardly believe how much she had grown and was talking! She loved when daddy played hide-and-seek! We ventured down to the water a bit, where skipping rocks was a big hit. I couldn’t decide if this or the next shot were my favorite family shots. It is so precious when a family is having so much fun together. After the water, it was up to the playground. As I said, I couldn’t decide between the previous one or this one. You can see how Miss A is showing her independence while her parents adore her!
If you have toddlers you know, it’s from one adventure to the next. Our next adventure was puddle jumping! Mom came prepared with a rain coat and boots.I’ll admit, there was not any actual puddle jumping (all of the other adventures were pretty exhausting), but she thought about it. I love the look on her face as she’s examining the puddle!
Thank you G family for braving the rain and allowing me to capture your little girl as she turns 2!
