From bump to baby, two photography sessions to document this special time.
In addition to the newborn photo session, this photography package includes a 30-minute maternity photography session to document the special time of anticipation and excitement before baby arrives. This session is for the expectant mom and her immediate family (dogs are welcome too!).Your session will take place at a favorite outdoor location or within your home.
Typically maternity sessions are done around 32-36 weeks (however, unless the baby has arrived, it is never too late).
Your session includes the photographer's time and talent, and a gallery of approximately 50 high resolution digital images from your maternity session and 75 from your newborn session. Also includes a complimentary, custom 8x8 album.

A photo session during your pregnancy gives you photos of this fleeting time to cherish forever. Document your family, the anticipation, while highlighting your beautiful baby bump.
Maternity sessions take place between 32-36 weeks of pregnancy to ensure you're showing nicely and not overly uncomfortable.
These photography sessions can take place within your home or at a location around the Seattle to Snoqualmie Pass. I will help you select the best location for your family.
Your Maternity Photography Session includes the photographer's time and talent, a gallery of high resolution images (minimum of 75) in both color and black and white, and a complementary, custom 8x8 album.

I am a natural light, lifestyle photographer. My work can be described as natural, fun, light and authentic. I became a photographer to capture the small, everyday moments and milestones of life and your gallery will reflect that. I am an all inclusive photographer because I don’t want you to be forced to choose just five photos. I am not after that one “perfect shot” of everyone smiling at the camera. I provide a generous gallery showing genuine connections, personality and the spirit of your family as you are right now. In the end, I want you to look at your gallery of images and truly see yourself, to say, “this is my family, documented beautifully.” My hope is that you will want to display your photos as artwork, because that’s what they are – art.
01. What kind of photographer are you?
Maternity photos are best done after 32 weeks.
You want to be showing, but not too uncomfortable. Ideally you would schedule by 36 weeks to give you time to reschedule due to weather.
02. When should my maternity photo session take place?
Maternity photo sessions are meant to document your immediate family before baby arrives. So bring the kids and/or your fur babies.
03. Who can I include in my photo session?
I totally get it. You have made an investment in family photos and you don't want to spend the entire time drenched. I am a photographer in Washington State, flexibility is my middle name (okay, not really, but that's a big secret!). Leading up to your session I'm in contact watching the weather forecast. If things don't look good I offer several options.
1) We do the session in your home. Kids are often comfortable in their own home and this type of session allows for plenty of family details to be captured.
2) We select a location with cover. I have several favorite spots in the area. In fact, it rained during this family session here.
3) We reschedule. I get it. My hair gets pretty big in the rain, I would want to reschedule my family photos too.
If you're session is in fall, your flexibility is key to having a rain free day.
04. What happens if it rains?
Once you have booked a session with me, we will start discussing the perfect location. I offer suggestions based on favorite spots that both show off the beauty of the pacific northwest while offering a perfect backdrop for family photos. I select locations that have beautiful light during the time of day your family needs your session, yet offers something for your family to do together - whether that is playing, exploring, throwing rocks, twirling in fields, or building forts in the woods.
I am also here to help you choose the right thing to wear. I guide you through the process, as much or as little as you'd like. Often clients will text me a photo of everyone's outfits laid out. While I want you to be YOU, I know you're making an investment and what you wear matters. I help ensure your photos are timeless while staying true to you.
05. What happens once I book a session?
While I try to leave room in my schedule for newborns and maternity session, I suggest booking during your 2nd trimester. If your session will need to take place during September-October, I suggest booking earlier.
